Climate
Libya's climate is influenced by the Sahara desert. The two most dominant climate zones are the hot Desert climate and the Mediterranean climate zone. Which basically means that during the winter, it's a bit cooler and you would expect to see some rain along the coast as well, but at night the temperatures in the desert can be freezing cold. But during the summer it is very hot and dry of course. The Sahara desert influences the temperatures during the summer that's why the weather tends to be sweltering.
